— KEYNOTE SPEAKING — CONFERENCES, SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, CHARITIES, CORPORATE & PRIVATE EVENTS
I first began speaking to groups at the young age of 17 as an A.I.S (Australian Institute of Sport) athlete and Australian Olympian in Canberra, Australia. I would be invited to speak about my achievements in sport and inspire others with my story.
When I retired at the young age of 20, after 6 years on the Olympic volleyball team, I never thought 10 years later I would be speaking about drugs, depression and my fall from Grace.
After accepting a salvation call in 2014 at a church, I started my Christian walk and In 2015 I shared my story on drug addiction with the SMH to raise money for www.one80tc.org. I vulnerably and relentlessly spoke as much as I could, wanting to heal past regrets and prevent others from making the same mistakes.
I founded Candifest Ministry, The Wander Organisation and Candifest Enterprises Pty Ltd around this time.
In 2018 I took time off to rest and re-evaluate the public speaking circuit. Over two years I explored new paths. The first path was in the medical field by completing a 5 month medical mission to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and the Amazon Jungle, Brazil. The second was in aviation and In 2019, I gained my commercial pilots licence for a helicopter in Townsville, Qld. The medical mission and flying doctors in aviation had put a fire in my heart for medicine. My passion to advocate, campaign and enter a political career planted a conviction within to study Law, even though I never thought I would do either. In 2020 I began a double degree in Law and Biomedical science at university in Sydney.
I live in Sydney next to my son and his father to be a full time single mum as he enters high school. I began to move forward again with my public speaking and this time I was going to take it to the next level. I began to talk about plastic surgery, weight issues, self-love, divorce, single parent struggles and more of the issues I know so many deal with. I was ready to go where I was not comfortable with a few years earlier. I have always been candid, open and honest. I was known for being transparent and honest after speaking about my drug addiction.
But why do i open up so vulnerably about personal and private issues? Simply, because I want to help others. I speak on a very broad range of topics now, I join panels and accept interviews. I enjoy speaking, writing content for my talks and adding public speaking as a business so I can do what I love full time.
I continue to build the Candifest Ministry, The Wander Organisation and my company Candifest Enterprises Pty Ltd.
Contact me with any enquires and requests you may have to speak at your next event.
